The following installation took place at Edinburgh College art, June 2006, as Naomi's final peice for her Sculpture degree. The work came out of extensive research she under took for her tutor Neil Mulholland and the course ' Out of Sight'.

After a few more days of rummaging at Sammy Burns junk yard, on his burning pile and many sheds, I gathered all forgotten boxes and individual slides. Painstakingly cleaning them and putting them in order, by year, a structure to the mans life began to appear, his life encapsulated every corner of Scotland over the years, which his photographs had captured, impeccably over 5 decades.
One Small box had a partial name on it, D.R.J Wallace, over the next six months , using clues in the slides, from places to school uniforms I worked out who he was and what he had done. A very shy man, who had kept himself to himself. He had been a Boffin in WW11."
